Cellist Jan Müller-Szeraws has an active national and international performing and teaching career. His appearances as a soloist have included performances of traditional and contemporary concerto repertoire with orchestras including Orquesta Sinfónica de Chile, Moscow Symphony Orchestra, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, New England Philharmonic, Concord Orchestra, Macon Symphony Orchestra and Richmond Symphony Orchestra. A frequent recitalist and longtime member of contemporary music ensemble Boston Musica Viva, he is very active in the Boston music scene, performing regularity with ensembles such as Collage New Music, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops in addition to being a frequent guest-artist at many festivals. As Artist-in-Residence at the College of the Holy Cross he directed the performance program and was founder and director of the Chamber Music Institute at Holy Cross.
